



On behalf of Anglia Ruskin University, Futurecity brought new types of public art to Cambridge throughout 2011-2012. The Visualise public art programme embraced the University’s centre of excellence in fine art, media arts and digital technologies to:
– commission a major new public art performance project by arts and technology company Circumstance
– devise a new exhibition and events programme for the University that include seminal artworks from around the world by artists such as Liliane Lijn, Gustav Metzger, Eduardo Kac
– create unique collaborations between artists and Cambridge based technology companies and initiatives, including Phillips Research and the universities Culture of Digital Economies (CODE) research division.
