Futurecity commissioned artists Circumstance to create a major public art project for the VISUALISE public art programme at Anglia Ruskin University. ‘Of Sleeping Birds’ filled Cambridge’s streets with glistening and delicate strands of music via a mobile symphony for the city. A hand crafted wooden speaker box was collected by each participant from a secret location in Cambridge, and taken on a twilight journey as a player in an orchestra, in a public art performance that asked people to rethink Cambridge as a changing modern city. http://visualisecambridge.org
