Future\Pace, Futurecity’s curatorial partnership with Pace Gallery, has been included in ArtReview’s Power 100 list.
Compiled in consultation with a panel of 20 esteemed writers, artists, curators and critics, the Power 100 list is one of the most respected rankings in the art world.
Marc and Arne Glimcher, the father-and-son partnership at the head of Pace Gallery ranked 19 in the list; up 4 places from 2015. Part of the reasoning behind this ranking is reported to be Pace’s groundbreaking collaboration with Futurecity to commission large-scale public art projects for the urban realm.
Future\Pace presents an international group of artists, creating work that can be exhibited in public spaces, defining cities as ‘galleries without walls’.
The ranking reflects Future\Pace’s recognised influence over the production and dissemination of ideas within the contemporary art scene.
