The New York office hosted Urban Research Unit: Housing in the Future City ‘Housing in the Future City’ was the third Urban Research Unit event of 2013. Alan G. Brake of The Architect’s Newspaper led the discussion with insights from panellists Dan D’Oca of Interboro Partners, Susanne Schindler of Parson The New School for Design and Jonathan Drescher of The Durst Organization. The panel discussed the growing need for housing in New York City, micro-apartments and how to balance affordable housing with higher-end developments.
