DO YOU LIVE IN TRUMPINGTON, CAMBRIDGE OR HAVE YOU MOVED INTO THE TRUMPINGTON AREA?

Artist’s London Fieldworks are looking for young people (aged 6-16), along with their parents and/or grandparents to take part in “itch, tickle, wow”, a film about living alongside wildlife.

This is an intergenerational film project, and we would really like people from all generations to take part. Children aged 10 or over can participate without parents, but in the spirit of the project we would encourage children and their parent(s) or grandparent(s) to come together. It will be a lot of fun.

You can come to all or some of the project. It is happening in two stages:

1. Short creative workshops on Saturday afternoons in June:

  • Sat June 14@ Trumpington Pavilion, 2-5pm
  • Sat June 21@ Trumpington Pavilion, 2-5pm
  • Sat June 28@ Trumpington Pavilion, 2-5pm

Each workshop will focus of different elements of making the film, from researching wildlife with experts from Cambridge University, creating image and storyboard ideas, and making soundtracks.

2. The Film shoot over August 25-30th & weekends in September (dates tbc)

The film will be shot with participants in the Trumpington area: on the NOVO development, around the village and at local wildlife sites such as Byron’s Pool.
