‘Smart Art \ Smart Cities’ Exhibition
4 September – 29 October 2018
NLA Guest Galleries
The Building Centre / 26 Store Street / London / WC1E 7BT
‘Smart Art \ Smart Cities’ explores how an international group of artists are bringing original ideas to our cities. Curated by FuturePace, an innovative partnership dedicated to delivering major art interventions in the public realm, the exhibition will introduce the practice of selected artists who engage with our built environment, including JR, Studio Drift, Random International, Michal Rovner, teamLab, Kohei Nawa and Leo Villareal. The display will feature urban projects realised in London as well as artistic short films edited by the studios.
For information on opening hours and further details on the exhibition visit the Smart Art \ Smart Cities Exhibition Page.
A talks programme featuring FuturePace artists will run alongside the exhibition, providing a forum to debate culture-led placemaking, new approaches to public art and the appetite by the private sector for art and architecture.
