Mark Davy of Futurecity has been invited to join internationally recognised artist Janet Echelman at a symposium held at the Calderwood Pavilion, Boston on January 19, 2016. The invite-only event aims to spark new thinking about how cities are built. ‘When is a train station, an energy plant, a bridge really a work of public art? And where does the money for all this come from?’

The discussion will be moderated by Boston Globe columnist Dante Ramos. Hosted by Massachusetts Cultural Council, the event is supported by Allyson Y. Esposito, Director of Arts and Culture, The Boston Foundation. Anne-Marie Lubenau, Director, The Rudy Bruner Foundation, and the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence
