Futurecity was appointed by Liberty Property Trust to develop a comprehensive wayfinding strategy for the Kings Hill, an award-winning development at the old Royal Air Force station near West Malling in Kent. Futurecity commissioned graphic designer Richard Wolfstrome to develop proposals for embedded signage and sculpture in response to the unique history of the site.  Community engagement specialists Futurecreative worked with community members and local school children to gather memories and explore the rich historical history of West Malling to include within the embedded artworks. Specialist fabricators Millimetre produced the artworks and designed bespoke benches and planters for the scheme. They also developed the unique hot metal spray finish for the roundels.
