Futurecity have been appointed by Berkeley Homes to develop and manage public realm art commissions for Wye Dene, a new development in High Wycombe. For the first project, Take a Seat with Us, furniture design students from Bucks New University built ten unique seats for residents of High Wycombe celebrating special places for sitting in the Wycombe Marsh area. The second, A Chair for Arching is a triptych of talks and discussions on the history of chairs, bodging and celebratory arches in High Wycombe. The project will culminate in a temporary community build chair arch for the new Wye Dene development in Wycombe Marsh.

The project is curated by Futurecity on behalf of Berkeley Homes and lead by Andreas Lang from public works.
