Launched in April, Blueprint’s first photography awards, sponsored by lighting company iGuzzini, invited submissions from professionals and amateurs in four separate categories: Architectural narrative, Architecture and Light, Architecture and Time, and Urbanism.
The awards celebrated architectural photography in a much wider sense than the commercially driven images usually printed in Blueprint Magazine. Architecture was the starting point for these photographic awards, these photographic investigations and conversations around architecture and the urban environment. The awards garnered entries from more than 10 different countries across four continents.
The finalists and winners images will be showcased in the Gallery at Foyles from the 21st October – 2nd November. The Gallery at Foyles is curated and managed by Futurecity.
