This publication arose from a desire to explore the relationship between local ambitions for arts, culture and creativity and new property developments in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Among the borough’s many attractions and landmarks are the Royal Court Theatre, Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, Kensington Palace, King’s Road, Leighton House Museum and Saatchi Gallery. However, the borough is also home to more than twenty festivals and an increasing number of practising artists are based there. The document profiled upcoming developments in the borough and highlighted the opportunities available to them.
