Billboard is a bright red, pop-up container hosting an exhibition and workshop space containing a multimedia studio, film suite and green screen. Designed to encourage young people to become involved in regeneration, a hydraulic 48-poster size screen rises into position to showcase the work of young people. Billboard branded collateral was distributed to participants including Channel 4 Talent and schools across Basildon District Council, and Southend and Thurrock unitary authorities.

Futurecity worked with 500 young people to devise and perform Einstein’s Dreams, a performance about regeneration, seen by 1,600 young people. Billboard arrived at Tate Modern to show the results of the six-month touring programme.
