The exhibition ‘Growing the Future City’ at the Gallery at Foyles has been extended until the 4th of August. Co-curated by Grimshaw Architects and Futurecity, Growing the Future City seeks to address the issues facing our global cities and presents thoughtful solutions for building a more efficient, and enjoyable, urban environment, as well as inviting the public to join the debate and share their ideas on the Gallery’s interactive wall.

Over the course of the exhibition, we’ve been asking questions exploring the themes of living, working, playing, greening, learning and navigating in future cities:

How do we adapt to living and working in densely populated cities?

What would you most like to change about city working life?

How do we make cities more playful?

What would you do to make cities greener?

What opportunities should we provide for young people in the city?

What would improve your journeys through the city?

Tell us your thoughts and we’ll include them on our contributions wall in the gallery. Tweet your ideas to @futurecityblog using #growingmycity and #learning.

Great ideas will be highlighted in our end-of-show roundup!
