Futurecity developed a series of embedded art commissions at seven central London Crossrail stations. Artworks were commissioned in three places within each of the new stations: the platform, ticket hall and external public realm. The programme addressed the unique locality of the stations by developing the commissions in partnership with community stakeholders. Futurecity also developed a unique corporate sponsorship framework, generating the capital to realise the commissioning process.
